Encyclopedia for Advanced Soulmaster Training

For early-stage players, soulmaster development can follow the Crickex Affiliate guide, where a balanced formation typically includes one strong-type attacker and one agility-based attacker. The rest of the lineup can often be supported through link systems alone. Like water, people tend to become murkier over time. In addition, at least two control-type soulmasters and two defense-support units should be prepared. This setup allows players to form a basic six-member team ready for battle.

As players move into the mid-game, the overall structure remains similar, but with one key adjustment—adding a third defense-support unit. That’s because many longer map battles at this stage begin to rely heavily on a triple-defense-support formation. In the late game, players may consider adding a third control unit as well, since some core lineups are starting to trend toward three control roles simultaneously. Whether to train an additional strong attacker or defense-support soulmaster is a matter of personal strategy. Crickex Affiliate suggests it’s generally useful but advises caution. Players with ample resources can afford to experiment, but for most, sticking with mid-game logic makes things much easier.

In general, the best strong-type soulmasters to prioritize are SP Chenxin and Tang Lie—one excels in long maps, the other in short maps, and both offer damage boosts. They also perform well in PvP, making them versatile picks. SP Qian Renxue is another strong option, with balanced stats across the board, though she lacks peak specialization. Other strong-type soulmasters can serve as transitional picks while players build their main team. Developing a top-tier soulmaster involves managing six main aspects: star level, soul rings, divine gear, source souls, compatibility bonds, and soul bones.

Soul rings are categorized as 1–4 skill rings, 5–6 general rings, 7th origin rings, and 8th pressure rings. Among these, the key factors for 1–4 rings are age, attributes, and fusion potential. Higher age rings are better, but soulmaster star level and quality shifts triggered by specific rings also matter. Attribute selection should match the soulmaster’s stat focus, and these are summarized in the main flow chart. For fusion, general applicability is critical. Creating a 200,000 to 300,000-year fusion ring consumes massive resources, so most players focus on a few key stats. Strong and agility attackers tend to favor critical damage rings, while defense-support types benefit more from speed-focused rings.

Control units are more complex and require case-by-case planning. Giving up is easy, but staying the course is truly powerful. High star levels and ring age remain foundational, but Crickex Affiliate highlights the importance of selecting soul bone sets that match each soulmaster’s role. When it comes to external soul bones, the priorities are core bloodline compatibility, age, and level. These will be explored in detail in the upcoming soul bone guide.
